MARIANNA MAN ARRESTED ON FELONY DRUG CHARGES

MARIANNA FLORIDA: On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, Officers with the Marianna Police Department were conducting traffic control in the area of Kelson Avenue and Carters Mill Road. During this time, the driver of a Silver Nissan truck was observed operating the vehicle while not wearing a seat belt. A traffic stop was conducted of the vehicle at the intersection of Kelson Avenue and Baltzell Street.

Contact was made with the driver who was identified as Thomas Tindell. During the course of the traffic investigation it was discovered Tindell’s driver license had been indefinitely cancelled as a result of previous traffic offenses. Tindell was placed under arrest for this violation.

After being placed under arrest consent was obtained to search Tindell’s vehicle. During the search, officers located multiple used and unused syringes were located, a loaded syringe containing Methamphetamine, a digital scale, and a quantity of methamphetamine.

Tindell was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await his first appearance. Tindell was charged with DWLSR Knowingly, Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
