Murder on Naomi Drive in Dothan

On June 9, 2019 Dothan Police responded to a report of a firearm assault in the 100 block of Naomi Drive. Officers arrived and found 27 year old Akheem Benjamin Hall lying in the yard deceased.


Hall was shot twice, he was struck in the forearm, and upper back area. Rescue responded to the scene, but was unsuccessful in life saving attempts.


Investigators responded to the scene and began speaking with witnesses. During the investigation a suspect was identified. Investigators are looking for 23 year old Tayshawn Malik Stevenson for questioning. He is described as a black male  6’0″ tall and weighing approximately 230 pounds.
