Napier Field Names Interim Police Chief

NAPIER FIELD:   At 6:00 PM Napier Field Mayor Buddy Skeen and Napier Field Town Council Members met for their regular scheduled meeting.

The Town Council Members are:  Greg Seay, Josh Champagne, Bill Day, Marlin Petersen, and Alice Day.

The State of Alabama ( a person within the State of Alabama ) told Napier Field they had to name a police chief or lose their ORI ( computer number ).

As Mayor Skeen asked for nominations Council Member Alice Day walked down to the Mayor and whispered into his ear. She then returned to her seat.

Then came a motion to name Charles Duncan as Interim Napier Field Police Chief. The motion passed unanimously.

Charles Duncan is a Midland City Police Officer because he was in uniform and a Midland City Police car was at the city hall.

The Town Council also named Tracy as Town Clerk. They did not give her last name.

The Town Council then went into an Executive Session at the request of a citizen. I then left.
