The State of Alabama has recently changed the requirements for the hiring of Police Officers.
Our hiring process requires the following education requirements:
1)-Possess an earned Associates or higher degree from an accredited College or University or currently A.P.O.S.T certified.
2)-Must possess a valid high school diploma or G.E.D “AND” pass a Basic Abilities Test (BAT), known as the “ACT Workkeys Assessment” (this is not the ACT exam taken in high school prior to college).
