OKALOOSA COUNTY: An investigation by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of a Fort Walton Beach man on charges of sexual battery on a victim under the age of 12, more than 30 counts of promoting the sexual performance of a child, and more than 30 counts of possession of child pornography.

Investigators with the OCSO arrested 70-year old Hugh Logan Jackson of Pocahantas Drive Thursday. They say between April 2019 and August 2021, Jackson sexually assaulted a child multiple times while she was between the ages of seven and ten.

They found more than 250 images and videos of child sexual abuse material involving the victim on his electronic devices.

Jackson said it was a special “game” he and the victim did together.
