PONCE DE LEON – On January 14, 2022 a deputy stopped a vehicle on Hwy 81 for a traffic violation. While the deputy was talking with the driver K9 Lasso conducted a free air sniff of the exterior of the vehicle giving a positive alert to the presence of narcotics.

The passenger identified as Shannon Justice stated to deputies that she had a meth pipe in her purse. A search of her purse revealed a pipe along with two clear baggies that contained methamphetamine.

Justice was placed under arrest and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
