Panama City Man Arrested in Connection to Februay Shooting In Marianna Fla

MARIANNA FLA: On Thursday February 22, 2024, officers from the Marianna Police Department responded to a report of shots being fired at the intersection of Milton Avenue and Harrison Street. Upon arriving at Harrison Street, they found evidence of a shooting and secured the scene, collecting and preserving all evidence. Following the initial response, a thorough investigation was conducted, leading to the identification of a suspect, Terrance Smith.
With the assistance of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Crime Lab, evidence was processed and analyzed. Results of evidence tested at the Crime Lab allowed investigators to charge Terrance Smith in the shooting. Terrance Smith, who is currently incarcerated in the Jackson County Correctional Facility will First Appearance on the above mentioned charges.
