Panama City Man Charged with Armed Burglary in Lynn Haven

LYNN HAVEN :The Lynn Haven Police Department’s Investigations Division has been working on the burglaries of 13 cars this past week and have made one arrest as of March 26, 2024. Each of the vehicles burglarized were left unlocked with valuables and guns left inside.
Terrion Dontez Kennedy, 23 years of age, who listed an address of 1701 Hamilton Avenue, Panama City, was charged with armed burglary of a conveyance and multiple charges of burglary of a conveyance. Kennedy, along with two other suspects, combed through two different neighborhoods pulling on car door handles until they located the unlocked vehicles. Deputies with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office were able to apprehend Kennedy after a vehicle description was provided by Lynn Haven Police Department Investigators utilizing residential cameras and the BAYROC program. During his arrest from the suspect vehicle, Kennedy was found to be in possession of a trafficking amount of methamphetamine and with one of the stolen guns taken from a vehicle in Lynn Haven. LHPD Investigators are continuing their investigations to identify the other two males involved in the case. Further arrests are expected to be made once all evidence is processed from the car burglaries.
