Dothan - Around 7:55 this morning Dothan Comm Center dispatched Dothan Emergency Responders to Metro Diner on West Main Street. The call was for a female patient struck by SUV with foot and head pain. Engine 3, under the leadership of Captain Dusty Trawick, had just left the station and arrived on scene as Dothan Communications completed the dispatch. Initially Captain Trawick downgraded the responding ambulance to non-emergency response to the scene due to minor injuries and then cancelled them because the patient was going to the hospital on private vehicle. Dothan Police is in charge of the investigating the accident.
