Possible Scam in Houston County

HOUSTON COUNTY, ALABAMA:      There have been a few people in the Houston County area who were contacted by a scammer. 


The scammer was someone claiming to be the 2023-2024 Rehobeth Basketball Team's Project Coordinator and is looking for sponsors. The scammer even forwarded someone an email with items and pricing information.


After the person the scammer called contacted Rehobeth High School, they were told this was not the first phone call they had received about this and that it was indeed a scam.


Be careful if you receive one of these calls.
