A line of showers and thunderstorms will enter northwestern Alabama between 12 am and 4 am tonight and exit the southeastern portions of the state Friday evening.  North of I-20, no severe weather will occur.  As the day progresses and instability increases, the line will also increase in intensity, especially south of Hwy 80/I-85.

A few damaging wind gusts and an embedded tornado or two are possible.

Low temperatures will be in the lower to middle 30s north of I-20 Saturday morning.  Low temperatures on both Sunday and Monday morning will be in the middle to upper 20s north of I-20 and upper 20s to lower 30s south of I-20 and north of Hwy 80/I-85.
