Today I placed this beautiful orange and blue ( War Eagle ) floral arrangement in the arms of the Angel Of Hope in remembrance of Elijah Tolbert who was called to his Heavenly Home on June 28, 2011 by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Elijah found immeasurable joy in working on, and riding his motorcycle, hunting and fishing with his brother, hanging out with his sisters (and making them laugh!), playing guitar and sharing music with his Dad, playing with his niece and nephew, taking care of his Nana and getting life advice from his PawPaw, and loving and being loved by his grateful family and friends.
I never had the honor of meeting Elijah and that is my loss but I’ve listened to many wonderful stories about him and about the amazing life he lived.
He had many accomplishments in life but his most important accomplishment was bringing others to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and he did that not just with his words but more importantly by example of the life that he lived day to day.
The very first thing I noticed when I looked at his pictures was his infectious smile. A smile like that can only come from someone with a loving heart inside of them.
Elijah will always be loved, missed and remembered every single day by his loving parents Richard and Pamela Tolbert, his loving sisters and brother, his loving grandparents and many many devoted friends.
