Restricted Access on Highway 53 Cottonwood

COTTONWOOD — Traffic in front of Cottonwood High School will be possibly slowed during school hours due to the Highway 53 repaving project.

On Thursday, March 16, Cottonwood Road will be completely closed at varying times from 5:00 a.m. until dusk.

Access to the school will be restricted on Cottonwood Road starting at 7:45 a.m. and will last several hours throughout the day.

Cars and buses trying to access the school will be escorted through the construction zone via pilot car.

Access to the school will be available anytime throughout the day from South County Road 55.

The Cottonwood Police Department urges drivers to select another route and avoid Cottonwood Road.
