Retired K9 Tarzan of the Houston County Sheriff Passed Away

Retired K9 Tarzan passed away after becoming ill yesterday evening. Tarzan joined the Houston County Sheriff’s Office in 2007 until his retirement in 2017.
During his career, he was known as the top narcotic dog in the county. His partner/handler Lt. Reichert, together made 300+ misdemeanor cases and 200+ felony cases. They also recovered 300lbs of Marijuana and 4lbs of meth; as well as thousands of dollars in drug money.
Tarzan lived out his retirement with his handler Lt. Reichert.
