Richard Muccio …Always Loved And Remembered

Today I placed this blue flower arrangement at the Angel Of Hope for my long time dear friend and co-worker Richard Muccio.


June 9, 1953 — June 9, 2024


Richard, a resident of Gordon, Alabama, passed away the morning of his birthday on June 9, 2024, at his home.


He was 71.


I’m so thankful that my last communication with Richard only a few days earlierended with me telling him and his wife Cathy…
I Love Y’all.


Richard loved the Angel Of Hope told me many times how proud he was of me for doing the Angel Of Hope and how beautiful it was to him.


Sadly….Never in a million years did I think I’d be asking his wife Cathy what Richard’s favorite color was so I could place an arrangement at the Angel of Hope for Richard.


WE NEVER KNOW WHAT TOMORROW WILL BRING


Richard was born in Patterson, New Jersey to the late Giovanni Persian Muccio and Josephine Viola Muccio.


He was employed with Hardwick’s Flooring in Dothan, Alabama for many years.


He was a very avid golfer.


Richard loved his mustang, “Ponies Up”.


He was of the Catholic faith.


Richard will Always be loved, missed and remembered by his loving wife and best friend since she was 17…Catherine Anne Bronsing Muccio.


His children and grandchildren who he will always love and is so proud of…Richard Muccio (Jamie Swartzentruver), Ryan John Muccio (Emily Kate), Ronald Brett Muccio (Annalyn Ramos), and Joseph Lee Muccio (Samantha Appel) grandchildren, Leah Muccio, Logan Muccio, Nathaniel Muccio, Alora Muccio, Hunter Swartzentruver, Casey Borders, and Kelli Springs.


His sister, Veronica Maseth (Albert)


And Richard will always be loved, missed and remembered by me and so many others who will always call Richard their friend.


Richard I’m sorry I never got to race you on your “Ponies Up” Mustang. I’m sure I would have won lol but maybe there’s a racetrack in Heaven and one day we will see who is the fastest ??????
