BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — On Thursday, Rick Burgess announced 2024 would be the final year of the “Rick & Bubba Show.” The announcement came just after the 7:00am session began. 


The announcement came during Thursday’s morning show. 


“We got a long runway. We got a whole year to spend together, reminisce, talk. We all agree that’s where we need to focus,” Burgess said following the announcement. The show, hosted by Rick and Bubba began in 1994 



The “Rick & Bubba Show” is expected to run through the end of 2024.
