TAYLOR: — Taylor Mayor Billy Snell, members of Taylor Town Council, Taylor Police and all employees of Taylor and volunteers have been working hard today getting ready for the
TAYLOR MADE FESTIVAL
Mayor Snell even had Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah helping them some today on Judah's off day.
This is the first festival since COVID-19 struck. They will follow all CDC guidelines for the festival.
Mayor Snell and all involved were excited for the festival before COVID-19 cancelled it last year because they had hot air balloons scheduled. Mayor Snell and members of the Town Council are excited because that vision will be a reality tomorrow.
HOT AIR BALLOONS will be set up where people can get rides. A Judicial Assistant for one of the Judges a year or more said her husband gave her a present of a hot air balloon ride, something she had always wanted to do.
In Taylor Alabama, Saturday, a chance again.
A lot of fun and activities.
The day will begin with a 5K run at 8 AM. Easter Egg Hunt at 11 AM. There will be the Friends of Ft. Rucker Huey Helicopter on site for helicopter rides.
The Taylor Made Festival will have four bands throughout the day in the amphitheater. Food and craft vendors. The world's best corndog's with the CORNDOG MAN will be on site. All activities in the Taylor Park, which is a beautiful park with plenty of shade.
Come out and enjoy a lot of fun.
