Search Warrant Ends in Drug Charges

HOLMES COUNTY, FLORIDA: On September 7, deputies and investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office and officers with the Bonifay Police Department conducted a search warrant at a residence on North Caryville Road in Bonifay, Florida. The warrant was obtained as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation into possible illegal drug sales from the residence.
Contact was made with Teresa Goodwin in a bedroom where investigators located a glass jar that contained methamphetamine residue inside. Additionally, a glass pipe containing methamphetamine was found in a couch where Dominic Goodwin was laying.
In a shed located on the same property, deputies located Jeremias Metaluna. A pipe containing burnt marijuana and two clear baggies with methamphetamine residue were found near the bed where Metaluna was laying.
Two other adults and three juveniles were also present in the home. The Department of Children and families was contacted regarding the juveniles.
Teresa Goodwin, Dominic Goodwin, and Jeremias Metaluna were arrested and taken to the Holmes County Jail.
Teresa Goodwin is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and sale of methamphetamine.
Dominic Goodwin is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine as well.
In addition to an outstanding Washington County warrant, Metaluna is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
