HOUSTON and HENRY COUNTY:    After more than 25 years, 20th Judicial Circuit Court Judge Larry Anderson decided not to seek re-election.

On May 24th there were three candidates. One was eliminated which has resulted in a run off election between two candidates.

Seth Brooks is one of the candidates in the run off election. Brooks was the front runner in the primary election on May 24 but not enough for 50% plus 1.

Seth Brooks is married to Jordan Brooks. They have three children, two are twins that are 8 months old.

Seth is son of Dr. Roland and Kimberly Brooks. Seth's dad is a practicing physician at Flowers Hospital. Seth's wife's parents are Tim and Wendy Reeves who owns Hunt's Restaurant.

Seth was hired directly out of law school by then District Attorney Doug Valeska. Brooks has tried criminal cases and some major criminal prosecution cases. He has handled various cases to include civil cases.

Election is Tuesday, June 21. Polls open at 7 AM and close 7 PM. The registered voters of Houston and Henry County vote on this office.
