Shots Fired Turns Into Firearm Assault at Pearl Lounge

Dothan – At 1:15am Dothan Communications dispatches Dothan Police to 2800 Block of Ross Clark Cir for multiple rounds of gun fire erupting possibly at Daybreak Inn and Suites.

1:17am an additional shots fired call comes in at Pearl Lounge parking lot with additional callers advising a person has been shot multiple times in the parking lot of Pearl Lounge.

1:20am Dothan Police have cleared the scene for Dothan Fire Engine 3 and Pilchers to enter the scene and start assessing the patient. 

1:22am Engine 3 arriving on scene

1:24 Dothan PD units on scene have called for Criminal Investigations Divisions to respond to the scene. This is normal protocol when there is any type of assault that does bodily harm to others. CID's job is to investigate in on a deeper level that patrol units who gather information and protect scene from being disturbed. 

1:35am Dothan Fire Medic 3 and Pilchers Ambulance transporting one patient in critical condition to local hospital. 

1:55am Dothan CID units are arriving to start investigating the scene

2:30am Dothan PD is not actively following any subjects with tracking dogs. Houston County Sheriff Deputies have been on separate call in the county using the tracking K9s during the time of the firearm assault. At this time Dothan units on scene are gathering information, statements, evidence, camera footage from near by business and any other thing that will assist in not only capturing but convicting the suspects in this case.
