SLOCOMB ALABAMA:On 9/8/23 at approximately 9:34 a.m. Geneva County E-911 dispatched Slocomb Fire-Rescue to an outdoor fire at 510 South State Highway 103. Multiple SFR units arrived on scene within 3 minutes to find a large outdoor fire extending into a large storage area of plastic materials. Firefighters deployed multiple hand lines and 2 master stream devices to bring the fire under control. The fire was quickly brought under control and there were no injuries reported. Slocomb Police also responded.
