DOTHAN - Dothan Leisure Services will host a Special Olympics Rhythmic Gymnastics sectional competition on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Doug Tew Therapeutic Recreation Center beginning at 9:30 a.m. Rhythmic gymnastics athletes combine gymnastics dance movements with the use of apparatuses to include ribbons, hoops, ropes, balls, and clubs. Athletes will have the opportunity to advance to state competition which will be held at Troy University (Troy, Alabama) May 17-19, 2024.
