Stolen Vehicle Recovered, Missing Person Located in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, FLA :On Saturday, June 15, around 7:35 a.m., Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an address where the caller stated their shed had been broken into, and their vehicle was stolen. A BOLO was immediately issued for the stolen vehicle. Around 10:30 a.m., deputies received information that the stolen vehicle had fled from a traffic accident in front of Firestone in Marianna. Deputies and units from the Marianna Police Department responded to attempt to locate the vehicle.
A few minutes later, deputies and officers conducted a traffic stop on the stolen vehicle just outside the Marianna city limits. The driver was identified as Jennifer Lashae Speights, who had been reported missing the night prior.
Jennifer Speights was arrested and is being charged with Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Burglary of an Unoccupied Structure. She is also facing additional charges from the Marianna Police Department.
