Storm Damage through Out Dothan and Houston County

Last night just before dark; a storm blew through our area causing extensive damage all over Houston County. Power crews worked all through the night trying to get power restored to all their customers. Some of the area hit the hardest were in Wicksburg, Bay Springs, Ashford, Webb and Columbia. Crews are out again this morning cutting trees trying to get roads opened up. Law enforcement ask that due to most roads still being blocked, please don’t try to go out on them. Large trees are still blocking several roads in Dothan. Emergency crews have to still find ways to get to emergency calls due to trees crossing the roadways.

I know here in Rehobeth, power was out for about 10 to 12 hours. If you do not have power please be patient, crews are out working to get ALL power restored.
