Severe storms are expected across portions of the southern Plains to the lower MS Valley vicinity on Friday, spreading east across the Gulf Coast/Deep South on Saturday. Intense, damaging wind gusts and tornadoes (some could be strong), as well as isolated large hail (mainly on Friday afternoon) will be possible as a line of storms develops along a cold front Friday afternoon and shifts eastward through Saturday.
