Susoicious Person Call Leads to Arrest Chipley Man

BONIFAY - On March 10th, deputies with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a suspicious person walking on Hwy 90.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the individual, later identified as Johnathan Speicher of Chipley, who appeared to have trouble keeping his balance and answering simple questions. When asked, Speicher admitted to having smoked methamphetamine.
A check with dispatch revealed that Speicher had two outstanding warrants. In his belongings, deputies discovered several items known to be used to ingest methamphetamine, including syringes that tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine.
Johnathan Speicher was arrested and transported to the Holmes County Jail, where he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
