Suspect Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Jackson County Fla

JACKSON COUNTY, FLA. – On Thursday, Nov. 21, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Ronald Eudon Grant III for Trafficking Methamphetamine and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device.
Around 4:45 p.m., Investigators arrived at the motel Grant was known to be staying at to serve the warrant. When they arrived, they saw Grant peek out the window and run to the bathroom. When another person opened the door for Investigators, Grant was exiting the bathroom. Investigators believed him to be tampering with evidence.
Investigators then obtained a search warrant and conducted a search of the room. A black magnetic box was located and found to have approximately 136.05 grams of methamphetamine. Investigators also located a plastic baggie filled with approximately 1.70 grams of methamphetamine.
While searching the bathroom, Investigators located methamphetamine and plastic baggies inside the toilet. The methamphetamine waters weighed approximately 3585.43 grams in liquid weight.
Investigators located a plastic pill bottle containing two pressed pills, which were identified as Oxycodone Hydrochloride; they have now been sent to the lab for analysis. A digital scale with methamphetamine residue was also located.
Grant was arrested and is being charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Oxycodone Hydrochloride, and Tampering with or Fabricating Evidence.
