Financial Director City of Enterprise Resigns by Rickey Stokes on Scribd

ENTERPRISE:    They "TOOK BACK ENTERPRISE" and made elected officials all around Enterprise very happy.

Because what was once the "CITY OF PROGRESS" has been thrown in reverse and the pedal to the metal which gives the wiregrass a better chance.

Under the leadership of Perry Vickers, Eugene Goolsby and Turner Townsend, the TAKE BACK ENTERPRISE group led the charge to employ a search firm for a City Clerk Treasurer. This firm searched the world over for the best qualified, conducted background checks, and all in all for these people to select the best qualified candidate for City Clerk - Treasurer. In fact the trio and Council paid the firm $ 17,500.00 plus      $ 3,000.00 in expenses for the best qualified candidate. Their selection from Anniston Alabama was Robert J. Dean, Jr., Public Works Director for Anniston Alabama.

The Enterprise City Council voted on October 18, 2017 to employ Dean from Anniston. And it did not take long before "TAKE BACK ENTERPRISE"  had Enterprise TAKEN WAYYYYYYYYY BACK IN PROGRESS.

As with most of the officials Enterprise was no different. They all are critical of  the messenger, shoot at the messenger, ( reminds me of some Dothan and Houston County folks ) and never listen to the message. Rickey Stokes was the messenger.

Click on video below when on June 5, 2018 RSN was trying to get the officials attention. But they paid no attention.

But today, September 9, 2019, the Enterprise City Council voted to accept the resignation of Robert J. Dean, Jr. as City Clerk - Treasurer for the City of Enterprise.

Because they are using "OPM ( Other People's Money ) the TAKE BACK ENTERPRISE group is paying Dean through October 31, 2019 his full salary. But he don't work there no more! Your money being used to pay Dean for, well, the Enterprise City Council under the leadership of TAKE BACK ENTERPRISE hiring Dean.

The Enterprise City Council voted to grant Enterprise Mayor Cooper to enter into an agreement with other people's money and pay Dean through October 31, 2019.

The Enterprise City Council voted to appoint as Interim City Clerk - Treasurer Beverlye Sweeney. She served when Steve Hicks left and before TAKE BACK ENTERPIRSE hired Dean.

Authorized Sweeney and Communications Director Jason Wright are to be the official signatures on the checks and warrants.

The auditor tried to put the blame on Stephanie Crowe. She made it clear the blame was TAKE BACK ENTERPRISE Perry Vickers and Robert Dean in her resignation letter.

TAKE BACK ENTERPRISE was Perry Vickers, Eugene Goolsby and Turner Townsend. They arrived and TOOK BACK ENTERPRISE...wayyyyyyyyyy back!

And they are like so called leaders in Dothan and Houston County, critical of Rickey Stokes the messenger and never listen to the message. I tried to send smoke signals in 2018...but
