PIKE COUNTY:     Want to THANK the citizen who assisted ALEA - Trooper Sgt. Drew Brooks, Post Commander of the Troy Post.


The motorcycle that was being chased by Sgt. Brooks, Colonel Charles Ward - Commander over the entire State of Alabama ALEA - Troopers was involved in the chase, and others, the misfortune happened to Sgt. Brooks.


He ran out of gas!


A citizen stopped and put gas into ALEA - Trooper Sgt, Brooks vehicle. Kinda one of those mid air jet re-fuels was needed.


On behalf of the citizens of the State of Alabama, citizen THANK YOU for the gas and helping the Sergeant out. Also your expanded gas tax will not begin until September, I think.
