DOTHAN-HOUSTON COUNTY: Yesterday was a busy day for local first responders and numerous medical calls and grass fire were being dispatched in Houston County and Dothan. Multiple grass fires pulled volunteer firefighters from family outings and most of them were caused by fireworks. Dothan Police responded to multiple fireworks calls through out the city.

Dothan and Houston County 911 dispatchers were sometime juggling multiple calls at one time. Everyone handled the calls and eventually everyone got to take a short breather before it all broke loosed again.
