The Better Side of the Job

Ozark/Dale Co - The side of the emergency response team that is always heard and never seen, most often forgot about, but probably the most important of any. I am talking about our Communication Centers, the men and woman who sit or stand behind a multitude of computer screen, answer the phones and able to communicate with members of the public during the worst day of their life. Whether it be someone sick, fallen, a vehicle accident, someone been shot, a family member reporting their loved one has passed away young or old. Without these members no fire truck, police car or ambulance would ever get dispatched. Today, one dispatcher got to experience a different side of things. She went from having one patient to having two patient while on the call. While waiting on an ambulance to arrive the expectant mother delivered the baby. Great Job today and congrats to mom
