Third Capital Murder Suspect Arrested For Murder of Pansey Man

HOUSTON COUNTY:     Today Houston County Sheriff Patrol Deputies and Criminal Investigators, to include Sgt. Ricky Herring joined hands with Dothan Police ZPatrol Officers searching for a Capital Murder suspect.

After multiple law enforcement officers hit a Chinook Street address looking for the suspect the officers left.

It was not long before the combined law enforcement officers spotted the suspect at North Oates Street and North Lena Street. The officers made a felony traffic stop and took the Capital Murder suspect into custody.

Arrested and booked for Capital Murder, 18 year old Elijah Patrick Hazel. 

Hazel was booked in the Houston County Jail today, Sunday, at 1:44 PM on Capital Murder charges, which is a death penalty offense.

Hazel joins two others who are in custody for Capital Murder. On November 30, 34 year old Cierra Lushanda Goodson was booked into Houston County Jail for Capital Murder, a death penalty offense.

On January 6, 2022 Houston County Sheriff Department arrested 21 year old Mykeila Tyrolese-Arian Rowser for Capital Murder, a death penalty offense.

All three are in custody for the gunshot death of Hardy Gray, age 58, of Pansey. Gray was found shot to death from multiple gunshot wounds. Gray was found dead in his Pansey home on December 1 when he failed to show up for work. Gray was believed to be murdered on or about November 30, 2022.
