THREE MEN ARRESTED FOLLOWING A TRAFFIC STOP

WASHINGTON COUNTY, FL; Washington County Sheriff’s K9 assisted in the
arrest of three men following a traffic stop yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 2:45 p.m., July 29th, a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop near
State Rd. 77 and Mud Hill Rd. During the traffic stop, K9 Axil conducted a perimeter search of the
vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics.
During a search of the vehicle, the deputy discovered a couple glass smoking devices and black
zipper pouch also containing a glass smoking device and a plastic bag with what field tested
positive for methamphetamine.
The occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody and booked into the Washington County Jail
on the charges as follows:
Harry Leland Bynum, 55, of Panama City Beach-possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wendell Boyd Collins, 58, of Vernon-possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license
suspended or revoked.
Timothy Earl Young, 37, of Chipley-possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of
methamphetamine.
