Today - Jacob Armstrong Would Be 14 Years Old - Tragic Auto Accident Claimed His Life and Mom's Life - Holly White

COLUMBIA:     Since June 8, 2013 I have found there were two people, a mother and son, that I wish I had the opportunity to meet. That opportunity never came about, but since that date I feel like I know them.

On June 8, 2013, a tragic event took place in Pansey and took the life of Holly White and her son, Jacob Armstrong. 

This accident that claimed their lives had a dramatic affect on many people who were friends of Holly and Jacob. Some of those friends are now friends of mine. They have shared stories about Holly and Jacob to me.

Today, Jacob Armstrong would be 14 years old. A handsome young man in the picture of he and his  mom taken one week before the accident, Jacob would be a great handsome young teenager today.

No one can explain or ever explain reasons why Holly and Jacob's lives were taken. But one thing that I know for sure, they were two people who were loved by many. That Holly was a true friend to many and knew what to say at the right time to calm her friends nerves when needed.

And all of her friends, loved the ground Jacob walked on. They loved spending time with Holly, but a lot of them loved spending the time with Jacob.

JACOB - no doubt in my mind tonight you would be having a great and wonderful birthday celebration. And you have been in many people's memories of you and your mother. A many of a tear has been shed since June 8, 2013 by women and men alike, who loved both of you.

JACOB - if I may, on behalf of all of your friends and family, look to heaven and wish you a HAPPY HAPPY Birthday.

While you and your mom are in heaven now, your friendship changed  and influenced many people. Your impact was powerful then many people. And that influence was a great positive influence.
