Town of Rehobeth Receives Donation

The Town of Rehobeth was the proud recipient of a $92,000 donation from the Houston County Economic Development Authority to be used for a fire training tower. The tower will the centerpiece for our new training facility that can be utilized by local volunteers and students at the Houston County Career Academy.
Special thanks to Bill Durden with HEDA for funding the tower. Additional thanks to Chairman Brandon Shoupe, Commissioner Ricky M. Herring, Houston County School Superintendent Brandy White, and Houston County school board member Marty Collins for your support for this project and your commitment to training and recruiting future firemen to serve our rural Wiregrass communities.
Not pictured: Rehobeth Public Safety Director Todd Phillips who has worked tireless on this project and other to ensure our citizens have fire and EMS coverage.
