Traffic Stop Land Driver in Jail for Methamphetamine

HOLMES COUNTY:On 5/30/24, HCSO deputies conducted a traffic stop on Bonifay Gritney Road for an expired tag and faulty equipment.


While speaking with the driver, identified as Jason Brown, K9 Lasso conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle, which indicated a positive alert for narcotics.



A search of the vehicle produced several pipes containing methamphetamine.



Brown was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
