Traffic Stop Lands Two in Jail in Abbeville

On June 11, 2022 at approximately 1:40 pm Patrol Units with Abbeville Police Department conducted a traffic stop for minor traffic infractions. While conducting the stop, officers recovered approximately 4.1 pounds of marijuana, mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia. 


As a result, Javon Antonio James 30, of Headland Alabama was arrested and charged with Trafficking Marijuana, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia with bonds totaling $178,000. Alycia Marie Hoffman 34, of Bel Air Maryland was also arrested and charged with Trafficking Marijuana, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia with bonds totaling $178,000. Both individuals were booked into the Henry County Jail.
