Truck That Struck Memphis Baptist Was Not Stolen - Driver ArrestedRickey Stokes

HOUSTON COUNTY: At about 12:46 AM on Thursday morning Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched emergency units to a motor vehicle accident on Memphis Church Road and Eddins Road.
The accident involved a truck that struck the church building. At the time of the accident the vehicle owner denied being in the accident.
Today that changed and the vehicle owner was arrested by ALEA-Troopers and Houston County Sheriff Department. The driver of the vehicle was charged with Leaving The Scene of An Accident and Driving Without A Interlock Device, both charges made by ALEA - Troopers.
The driver was also charged by Houston County Sheriff Department for Filing A False Report claiming the vehicle was stolen.
The driver turned himself in at the Houston County Jail where he later made bond. The driver, Robert Culver, was released on $ 18,000.00 worth of bonds.
There was only one vehicle involved and the church building. There was no one physically injured in the accident.
