WALTON COUNTY, FLA:More than six pounds of methamphetamine, 800 pills containing fentanyl, and 82 grams of fentanyl were seized during two drug investigations in Walton County. Now, three men face felony drug charges.

Two joint investigations between the Walton County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit, the FDLE, and the Office of the City Marshal, DeFuniak Springs Police resulted in the arrest of two Alabama men and a Fort Walton Beach man on drug trafficking and weapons charges.

On February 7, 2024, members of the WCSO Vice/Narcotics Unit and FDLE stopped Stephen Jakevious Stackhouse and Jaquez Lane of Samson, Alabama, in Gaskin, Florida. Stackhouse was wanted on felony warrants stemming from the investigation into methamphetamine and fentanyl trafficking in Walton County.
