WASHINGTON COUNTY: Two Holmes County residents are behind bars in Washington County and facing drug-related charges after a traffic stop.

Just before midnight on June 13th, a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Old Spanish Trail and St. Mary’s Rd. Deputies made contact with the subjects in the vehicle. The driver, 25-year-old Cameron Jiles Tucker stated he did not have a driver’s license when asked but also informed deputies that he had given his friend a ride earlier and they had dope in plastic bags in the backseat of the vehicle. Tucker and a passenger in the vehicle, 27-year-old, Brooke Elizabeth Reynolds, were both detained.

Further investigation resulted in deputies visibly observing two young children in the back seat within arm’s reach of a glass vile containing a crystalized substance. Reynolds admitted to concealing methamphetamine on her person and additional illegal items in her purse.

Both were arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail.

Tucker on the charges of driving while license suspended or revoked, child neglect, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Reynolds on the charges of child neglect, evidence destroying or concealing, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of paraphernalia.

Two children who were present at the time of arrest were released to a family member.
