Two Marianna Men Arrested on Gun Charges

MARIANNA FLA:On Saturday, May 18th, 2024 at approximately 11:50 PM officers with the Marianna Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a Chrysler passenger car for a traffic offense. The driver was identified as Camry Quinn by his Florida identification card. The passenger was identified as Cortez Quinn.
Officers determined through a system’s check, Camry was on felony probation and was a convicted felon for several gun related charges. Camry was also determined to have a suspended license several times over, to include fleeing and eluding charges. Cortez was found to have a history of gun related offenses.
Both occupants were removed from the vehicle for officer safety. A firearm was observed in plain view in the passenger side floorboard. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a short-barreled rifle in the trunk, concealed near the spare tire.
Cortez was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm. Camry was arrested for driving while license suspended, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a short-barreled rifle.
