UPDATE: Additional Information...Gordon Mayor Arrest

GORDON:    9:09 PM     Gordon Mayor Shana Ray was arrested for Harassment and RSN has obtained additional information.

A citizen water was cut off. They receive their money once a month and asked the Mayor to work with them. Gordon Mayor Shana Ray refused.

The Gordon resident went on the 20th and made the payment. The resident was charged a $ 50 reconnect fee. The resident paid for her mother and her residence.

Gordon Water Department went to her residence and reconnected the water for the residents.

The next morning Gordon Mayor Shana Ray came flying up in the residents yard and jumped out of the truck. The Mayor was in a rage and is alleged to have said " I AM THE MAYOR, GOT A GUN AND WILL USE IT". The residents had their dog beside them.

Gordon Mayor Shana Ray continued in a rage stating to the residents they had written a bad check to the city ( THEY DID NOT ), they cut their water on ( THEY DID NOT ) that is was a post dated check ( IT WAS NOT ). Gordon Mayor Shana Ray continued and is alleged to have continued cussing at the residents telling them they were f------thieves ( THEY ARE NOT ) and she was going to make sure they were run out of Gordon and could not live there. 

Gordon Mayor Shana Ray is alleged to have continued her threats, according to the resident threatening the water guys jobs and the Chief of Police job.

Gordon Mayor Shana Ray ordered the water guys to cut their water off again for "a bad attitude" and they would be required to pay $ 1.00 to have the water cut back on. The water guys, in order to keep their job, had to cut the water off. The residents went to the City Hall to pay the $ 1.00 in order to have water.

Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded and filed a report. The Gordon Police Chief was placed in a awkward situation because she is his employer as was the water department.

The Gordon Mayor is alleged to have made threats to the Gordon residents of having dogs search their homes and she wants them gone.

I told the residents, who by the way are white and Gordon Mayor Shana Ray is black to contact a Civil Rights Lawyer because the Mayor threatened their freedom and liberty to lawfully live and reside in Gordon.

The Gordon resident swore out an arrest warrant against Gordon Mayor Shana Ray.

We have had complaints against the Mayor all over town about the water situation. The Town of Gordon had sewage back up in the Gordon Volunteer Fire Department because of their pitiful water and sewage issues. And Gordon Mayor Shana Ray did not take responsibility for her manure and sewer back up. She even cut the water off to the Gordon Fire Station and they use 5 gallons of water or less. ( Found out about this Mayor and not from the Fire Chief. Fix your crap tank from backing up in the fire station or I will send a porta potty truck to dump in City Hall ! ).

UNCONFIRMED reports are the top was off the water tanks for a period of time in Gordon. Water pressure is  not what it should be on the water system. 

It is time to abolish the Town of Gordon. And time for Shana Ray to be run out of Gordon.

How dare she treat the residents of Gordon like this.

Other complaints have been lodged about the Mayor. And he threatening the Police Chief in front of citizens ( did not come from the Police Chief ) and the water department, uncalled for.
