DALE COUNTY: 08:54 AM Ozark - Dale County 911 dispatched EMS and Dale County Sheriff Deputies to the 1700 block of County Road 73 to a medical emergency.
Ozark - Dale County 911 has also dispatched Survival Flight to this location in reference to a cow running over a man's back and his back is possibly broken.
Emergency units are rolling to the scene as is Survival Flight.

Dale County Sheriff Deputies have arrived on the scene. ECHO EMS is the ambulance on scene. A landing zone has been established across the road from the medical emergency.

Ozark - Dale County 911 advised the Dale County Sheriff Deputy that Survival Flight is overhead of them at this time. The Deputy is making radio contact with Survival Flight.
There is a hay field next to the Dale County Sheriff Deputy and Survival Flight is landing in the hay field.
Due to the severity of the injuries is a reason to respond Life Flight. Also the certification of Flight Crews they are more advanced than Paramedics in authorization for additional treatment and administering drugs.

Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mason Bynum is on the scene of the medical emergency. When the motor vehicle accident was dispatched on South County Road 21 and Campground Road Chief Bynum reported that Survival Flight was not going to transport from the medical emergency. If needed the flight crew was needed he was with them and could get them in the air.
Survival Flight was requested at the motor vehicle accident. A flight time of 5 minutes.

ECHO EMS is transporting the patient, trauma alert, to Flowers Hospital in Dothan.
