GENEVA COUNTY: 09:20 AM. Geneva County 911 dispatched Fadette Volunteer Fire and Slocomb Fire to a excavator fire.
The fire location is South Park and Hovey Road.

Fadette Volunteer Fire, Slocomb Volunteer Fire - EMS, Geneva County Emergency Management Director Brian Smith were on the scene.
As units were responding smoke could be seen from County Road 49.
The fire departments did a great aggressive offensive attack because the fire was churning on the arrival. There were a lot of trees in danger and the fire could have spread quickly.
