PINCKARD: 9:14 PM At about 6:48 PM Pinckard Police Department went into a foot chase of a subject in Pinckard.
The foot chase was by the Pinckard Police Officer that was young and able. Not the old has been Pinckard Police Chief Lowell Williams.
The officer chased the person down Snell Street towards McClain Street. The suspect was wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans and was a white male. The subject was last seen on Leon Circle across from Pinckard City Hall.
Houston County Sheriff K-9 on ground. Dale County Sheriff Deputies are on the scene.
THE COMMENTS BELOW DO NOT INDICATE ANYTHING ABOUT THE PINCKARD INCIDENT THAT CAUSED THE K-9 TEAM TO BE CALLED. IT JUST EXPLAINS HOUSTON COUNTY SHERIFF DONALD VALENZA POLICY WHEN TRACK TEAMS ARE DEPLOYED SO ARE SRT OFFICER’S
Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza requires SRT Team Members to run with the K-9. In Florida a Corrections Officer was killed when tracking a suspect so Sheriff Valenza requires K-9 officers to track with the K-9 Team.
Unknown if Pinckard Police Chief Geritol was working and he was out or not. Williams is a Game and Fish Officer for the State of Alabama and moonlights as Police Chief. Useless in both positions.
UPDATED @ 10:21 AM. MONDAY.
The track teams were called off Sunday evening and the suspect not apprehended. The suspect is not a danger to the community or law enforcement.
Sometimes law enforcement officers have to give respect to gain respect. Pinckard Police sometimes do not comprehend that but it begins with the top of the ladder, the Chief Lowell Williams.
