8. Discussion of request from Houston County Commission to renegotiate leased EMA space in the Emergency Operations Center.

9. RES.NO. _2023-20 _ That the City of Dothan/Houston County Communications District Board authorizes the discussion to approve the request of $36,796.58 to the Town Of Rehobeth Fire and Rescue for the purchase, programming, and installation of portable and mobile radios and their necessary accessories. Request submitted by the Houston County Volunteer Fire Fighter Association. Request and quote attached to and made part of Resolution. Budgeted FY23.

10. RES.NO. _2023-21_ WHEREAS, The City of Dothan/Houston County Communications District Board approved and adopted amended Bylaws for the City of Dothan/Houston County Communications District Board by Res. No 2021-31, dated September 14, 2021 and WHEREAS, the City of Dothan/Houston County Communications District Board desires now to amend said BYLAWS. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Dothan/Houston County Communications District Board as follows: SECTION 1. That the City of Dothan/Houston County Communications District, which said amended Bylaws are attached to and made part of this Resolution. This requires an affirmative vote of two-thirds, seven (7) of the members of the Board.

11. RES.NO. _ 2023-22_ That the City of Dothan/Houston County Communications District Board does hereby approve a Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) of 4.0% for all District Employees and Pay Merit increases as follows: 3.5% for the 911 Director, and 3.0% for the Deputy Director, and for the Building Technician. Rates attached to and made part of this Resolution to go into effect September 24, 2023.

12. RES.NO. _ 2023-23_ That the City of Dothan/Houston County Communications District Board agrees to the 2023-2024 Southern Software Annual Support Agreement for software support and maintenance for CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch), Alpha-Numeric Paging, NCIC (National Crime Information Center) for CAD, and MDS (Mapping Display System). The annual software support agreement provides coverage that begins December 6,2023 and ends December 5,2024. Southern Software support of Addressing begins February 9,2024, and ends February 8, 2025. The City of Dothan/Houston County Communications District Board authorizes the payment of approximately $37,935.00 to Southern Software for the City of Dothan/Houston County Public Safety Answering Points over a year period. Annual Support Agreements are attached to and made part of this Resolution.

13. RES. NO. _ 2023-24_ That the City of Dothan/Houston County Communication District Board authorizes the payment of approximately $27,099.00 to Harris Security for the upgrade of current camera systems located in the Dothan/Houston County Communications Emergency Operations Center. Quote is attached to and made part of this Resolution.

14. RES.NO. _ 2023-25_ That the City of Dothan/Houston County Communications District Board authorizes the payment of approximately $17,700.00 to Jamie Perry, CPA on behalf of McDaniel & Associates, P.C. for the preparation of financial statements, bi-weekly payroll, payables, and provision of other accounting services for the City of Dothan/Houston County Communications District for a period of one year with option to extend up to two more years if both parties agree.

15. RES.NO. _ 2023-26_ That the City of Dothan/Houston County Communications District Board authorizes the discussion to approve the request of $16,900.00 to Sci-2-Way for the programming of 100 radios and the purchase of 100 3200mah Motorola batteries for the various agencies within the Houston County Volunteer Fire Fighter Association. Serial numbers for radios to be programmed and serial numbers of batteries purchased to be submitted to the Dothan/Houston County Communications District. Request and quote attached to and made part of this Resolution. Budgeted FY23.
