PANAMA CITY BEACH FL:     7:48 PM      TEXT RICKEY STOKES 334-790-1729 has been informed that law enforcement have THE SUMMITT in Panama City Beach Florida surrounded.

Law Enforcement Officers are reported to RSN to have high powered rifles in hand and the area surrounded.

Not exactly sure what is going on. Have some UNCONFIRMED information. Attempting to find out.

Law Enforcement Officials in Bay County have confirmed a murder of a male and female at The Summitt in Panama City Beach Florida.

The murder occurred at 6 PM.

TEXT RICKEY STOKES 334-790-1729 has just been informed the CSI ( Crime Scene Investigation ) unit has just arrived on the scene.

Law Enforcement Officials are saying the public is not in danger.

The deaths occurred on the 11th Floor of The Summit in Panama City Beach Florida. UNCONFIRMED by authorities but it occurred on the 11th floor. The subjects are reported to have been long termed residences there.

UNCONFIRMED by authorities it appears to be a murder - suicide incident. There are reported, again UNCONFIRMED by authorities, two children unaccounted for.

UNCONFIRMED BY AUTHORITIES but information is the children have been found safe hiding the in apartment.

While physically they are OK, mentally this will be something this will haunt them they rest of their lives.

No more details have been released from law enforcement concerning the deaths. At this time all information appears a murder - suicide. Police heard the gunshots as they arrived at the Summit in Panama City Beach, Florida.
