LEVEL PLAINS:   6:24 PM  A serious critical injury auto accident in Level Plains.

The accident is in front of the Dollar General on Highway 84. One patient is reported to not be breathing and CPR in progress.

Enterprise Rescue is responding.

The accident site is on Highway 84, the westbound lanes, in front of the Dollar General Store. 

ALEA - Troopers are on the scene of the accident. ALEA Homicide Investigation Team is conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident.

The accident site is on the Dale - Coffee County line. It actually occurred in Coffee County.

Coffee County Coroner Robert Preachers responded to the accident scene. 

Scene pictures are being withheld until confirmation the family is notified.

Enterprise Fire Department, Enterprise Rescue, Dale County Sheriff Deputies, Level Plains Police Chief along with ALEA were on the scene.

DOTHAN POST – A two vehicle crash at approximately 6:15 pm on Wednesday January 6, 2021, has claimed the life of a Coffee County man. Cazavieon Terre Wilder, 27, of Enterprise was killed when the 1996 Nissan Altima that he was a passenger in pulled into the path of a 1994 Dodge Ram. The driver of the Nissan Altima was transported to Enterprise Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Wilder was pronounced dead on the scene. The accident occurred on US 84 at the intersection of Coffee County Road 709, just west of Level Plains. Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.
