ASHFORD:      Ashford Police Department, Houston County Sheriff Department, ALEA - SBI Agent are conducting a ground search in Ashford for a missing juvenile.

Information is limited. But a 13 year old female reported with a backpack on is missing around Ashford. UNCONFIRMED by law enforcement but the search has been underway since arond 5 AM this morning.

Houston County Sheriff K-9 Deputies are tracking east on Highway 84, east of Crosby Road area.

As more details are available we will update. NO INDICATION of foul play in missing juvenile at this time.

WASP ( Wiregrass Aviation Support Program ) helicopter is not deployed and do not believe the Houston County Sheriff DRONE Team has been activated at this time. Reasons unknown.

The missing juveniles were located by Ashford Police Chief Melvin Anderson. There were two missing. The two were safe.
