DOTHAN:    10:27 PM.   DOTHAN 911 received a domestic complaint and were searching for the victim and person fighting with. The search was based on several information sources available.

Dothan 911 then dispatched Dothan Police to the Emergency Department of Southeast Health in reference to a female being presented with a gunshot wound to the face.

At the time of the call being dispatched at Southeast Health I was in my truck leaving the Waffle House directly across the street from Southeast Health. I rode through the parking lot and no vehicle was seen that appeared to be one that brought the victim to the hospital.

Southeast Health Security was in the parking area searching for the person who delivered the victim or a vehicle. As of this writing none was found.

Dothan Police are checking a number of locations for the possible crime scene.

Dothan Police Criminal Investigators have been called to them hospital. Police are working on sorting the details at this time. 

UPDATED @ 11:22 pm. 

Dothan Police have located a crime scene on Greentree Avenue just south pf Choctaw Street intersection.

Dothan Police Crime Scene Tech’sare on the scene processing the crime scene. Dothan Criminal Investigators are working details. Dothan Patrol are blocking the intersection and working sources for details.

At this time do not know the extent of the gunshot victim’s injuries.

The investigation continues.
